Director's View

Soll Paixão, with her agile fingers and attentive eyes, designs a world of sequins on fabric. The small bar where she works, at the exit of the alternative theater in the Center of São Paulo, is a refuge for restless souls. There, a diverse and progressive audience gathers at nightfall, thirsty for music, theater, cinema, and conversations that transcend the trivial. In the intervals between serving customers,

Soll dedicates herself to embroidery. Each stitch is a promise, a glimmer of hope. The dress she prepares is more than an outfit; it is a gleaming armor for the night ahead. Sunday will be the day of the coronation of Miss Trans 2023, and Sol wants to be impeccable.

She knows that the crown is not just an adornment, but a symbol of resistance and conquest. In the dressing room, where anxiety floats

like a sweet and bitter perfume, Soll mingles with the other contestants – some with their eyes marked by fatigue, and others whose laughter echoes through the walls.

The film seeks not only to celebrate trans resistance, but also to break through bubbles and reach audiences who still view this reality with distance or ignorance.

More than a portrait

of identity, "Somos Todas Miss" is a mirror: it reminds us that we seek the same thing, to be who we are without asking permission,

and that, in this sense, we are all worthy of our own crown.
